We're so excited to welcome you to the celebration of our love. Along with our wedding, we'll be celebrating ten years together in 2027.

In late 2016 we were introduced by our mutual friend - the best man, Tom. We had an instant connection and knew we were in for something special. Ian caught Sarah's eye and she gently nudged Tom towards being match maker. Ian summoned up the courage to ask Sarah out to see Star Wars and eat Cornish Pasties for their first date later that week. He turned on the charm and wooed Sarah so well that he was able to land a second date only four short months later. It's hard to believe we were only 22 year sold then; time really flies.

We've been all over the country together and traveled internationally on planes, trains (our favorite), ships, cars, and foot. We are waiting with anxious breath to finally visit Europe together after the wedding.

In 2019, Sarah embarked on a long mission to serve in AmeriCorps NCCC, ultimately ending up in Hawaii with her group. Ian held down the fort at home with her beloved cat, Lilly. We Facetimed every week while Ian was working through the process of purchasing our first home, and Sarah was working hard renovating the Boys and Girls Clubs of Maui, organizing charity donations in Los Angeles, and generally living her best life.

Fast forward through the craziness of the pandemic, our homesteading phase, and a couple of international trips, and we land in 2025. Ian picked up Noodle, the newest member of our little family and constant reminder that the kibble bowl is empty. We love hanging out at home Friday evenings and watching the first twenty minutes of Great British Baking Show before Sarah falls asleep (we've seen season 11 twice).

Also in late 2025 we decided it was time to get the government involved, and we were engaged on February 11th, 2026. Sarah knew it was coming but Ian managed to keep the details a surprise. We flew to New York City for a Valentine's weekend and managed to dodge a couple of blizzards along the way.

We've grown so much since 2017, tackling all the ups and downs of life together. Many of you have been there with us through those times. At this big milestone, we thought there was no better way to celebrate ten years than to bring our friends and family together for a big party. We can't wait to see you all at our wedding and join us while we embark on the next decade (and many more) together.
